On August 3rd, 2019, Whiskeytown Environmental Camp organized a fundraiser to revive the camp which was destroyed by the Carr Fire. Our GVB Redding crew was out in full force popping up some fresh popcorn and pulled off a surprise check presentation of a $5K donation that came from our Carr Fire funds account.
There was a great turnout of community support and lots of activities going on from hot dog eating contest, raffle basket giveaways, live band entertainment and a car giveaway.
