Golden Valley Bank (OTCCB: GVYB) today announced a $25,000 contribution to support Bear Fire relief also referred to as the North Complex West Zone Fire.


“Another terrible tragedy has hit our Butte County communities.  We all again need to do what we can to help those affected,” said Mark Francis, President and CEO of Golden Valley Bank. “I encourage other businesses to join us in this effort.” 


The contribution will be dispersed through the Golden Valley Bank Community Foundation, a nonprofit corporation that supports programs in the areas of financial literacy, the environment, health, human, and family services, and best practices for small nonprofit organizations. The Foundation serves as a catalyst and partner in finding innovative and workable solutions for the betterment of the communities they serve.
